Delivery & Returns

Our delivery fees are £5.95 for all orders under £100. Orders over the value of £100 are eligible for free standard delivery.

Please note that customisation services such as racket restringing or gripping and clothing printing will have a minimum turnaround of 48 hours in dispatching your order.

For rackets, any post-purchase customisation (such as a re-grip) or removal of the plastic handle wrapping constitutes the racket as used and signifies acceptance of the racket’s delivered condition.

In the unlikely event that your parcel is not delivered, please email after 7 days and before 30 days from date of purchase. We cannot accept non-delivery claims once this period has expired.

If you refuse a parcel when delivery is being attempted, this holds a £15 charge which will then be deducted from your refund.


Returns Policy

If you change your mind about a product, we offer a 30 day return policy from date of purchase.

Customised/personalised items cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty. If a customised or personalised item is thought to be damaged or faulty when you receive it please refer to the Faulty or Damaged Items section below.

Returns Requirements

Before returning a product ensure you meet the following requirements, then follow the steps in the Returns Process section below. If you are unsure whether the item to be returned meets the requirements, please email us at before returning it.

    1. Items should be returned within 30 days of purchase date.
    2. The items must show no signs of use and returned in the original packaging – this includes the original plastic wrapping on the grip for rackets and tags attached to clothing / shoes.
    3. Your item hasn’t been customised – e.g. a grip applied to the handle.
    4. If a re-string has been applied by Gear4Sport then the item can still be returned, but any refund will not include the charge of £10 for the string and fitting plus a £10 service charge. Returned rackets that qualified for a free re-string will also carry a £20 service and string charge depending on which string is chosen.
    5. Personalised clothing cannot be returned unless it is damaged or faulty on arrival (see Faulty or Damaged Items section below)

Goods returned to us which do not match the requirements above, and are not in the condition as they were delivered, will not be accepted as a return. Items will be returned to you and Gear4Sport reserves the right to charge you for any reasonable losses incurred.

Christmas period Returns Policy

For all orders placed on or after 3rd November you are eligible for our extended Christmas returns policy – meaning you can return up to the 18th January.

Returns Process

Before returning a product ensure you have read the Returns Policy and requirements section above.

    1. Email with your order number (beginning with G4S) and the item(s) you wish to return. Please also state the reason why you are returning them.
    2. Should the return be approved, we will email you a returns label. £6.95 will be deducted from any refund to cover the return postage cost.
    3. Package the return including the original invoice or a note with your name and order number.
    4. Attach your returns label to the package and return the item.

Self Returns

You are welcome to arrange your own return. It is the responsibility of the sender to ensure the parcel reaches Gear4Sport so a tracked delivery service is recommended.


Unfortunately, we cannot exchange a product. You will need to return your unused product to us for a refund and place a new order.

Please read the Returns Policy and requirements and follow the Returns Process in the sections above.

Wrong Item Sent

In the unlikely event that you should receive the incorrect goods, please contact us directly within 7 days to let us know via Please provide your order details and images of the incorrect item(s) received. We will then advise you on the next steps to rectify this.

We will require the return of the incorrect goods before we dispatch the correct item(s). Please note that if we do not receive the return you will be charged accordingly.

If we have made an error, we will cover your returns postage charge. Please note that we cannot promise this so please ensure you do contact us before sending items back.

Returned items must be in the condition that they were received. Customisation, removal of tags, stickers, bags or grip packaging is classed as a used item and will void any return.

Please do not put any sort of tape directly on the product and packaging as you will be charged for any damages.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If you are unhappy with the condition that your product arrives in or you believe it is damaged or faulty, please email including the order number and a description and photos of the fault or damage.


How long does it take to get my refund?

We aim to process all returns within 1 week of receipt (depending on courier delivery speeds), so we generally advise to plan for 2 weeks in case an unforeseen issue arises.

Do I get a full refund?

If items match all the return requirements (see Returns Policy section above), then the cost of the item will be refunded, minus the £6.95 return postage charge unless you have used your own service.

Postage costs are not included in the refund unless an incorrect item has been sent by Gear4Sport.
